I know what you're carrying because I carried it too.
I built a salon. I had a team. From the outside it looked like everything was going in the right direction.
Privately I was exhausted in a way a holiday didn't fix. I was paying wages before I paid myself. I was the last one to leave, the first one in, and slowly realising that I had built something I couldn't step away from โ not because the systems weren't there, but because my mental energy never left the building.
So I made a decision that felt, at the time, like the most terrifying thing I'd done professionally. I dismantled it. I went solo. And I want to be honest with you โ it felt like failure. It felt like grief.

I had to figure that out myself. I rebuilt. I repositioned. I built income that doesn't require me to be in the treatment room.
